Spent 32 yrs in the Police Service, mainly criminal investigation, surveilance & some other specialist departments. Retired in 1999 to take up a position as a Government Advisor in Albania. When that contract finished I then established a career at sea as a Senior Officer on cruise ships & have spent the last 17yrs travelling/working /living all round the world. Started in property as a landlord in 1999, establishing a small portfolio in the early 2000’s, then sold off a few in 2006/7 & invested in other property investors. All this time I was an absent landlord & the properties were managed. I currently have 4 single lets in the Solihull / Birmingham area & I developed some housing units in the Philippines. I decided that business in the UK was more ethical & a little easier, so have brought my family to live in the UK, with a view to expanding my portfolio, creating cash flow & to leave a legacy for my family. I have decided to focus on property because for many years I have held an interest in it & I need to feed my 8 yr old son with all the electronic gadgets he demands. Plus I can never imagine myself retiring, I must have an interest & exercise my mind. I have decided to engage in property education because at my age I can not afford to hang about to reach the next level. BTL / HMO for cashflow evolving to Commercial / Residential Conversion to increase portfolio & build wealth
