Hi everyone, I just moved to Tenerife (Spain) two months ago. I am originaly from Venezuela (South America), but for business purposes I am based in Nottingham, UK. I´m a mom of two grown up daugthers (22 & 25 y.o.) and a wife to my life and business partner, Antonio. When we lived in Venezuela, we managed some computer stores of our own and invested in property there too. We have been looking to invest at the UK for quite some time. We just started last year in Nottingham, mostly because our daugthers are currently living there, but also because we like the atmosphere of the town very much. We think it is a very good place to invest in the student and young professional market, even though there is an article 4 direction in the city centre. We are looking to increase our portfolio to - make some cash flow since we just move to a new country (and therefore we need it) - learn how to invest with no money (jv and/or recicling the equity of our property) Even though we have the oportunity to invest in Spain, we think that our efforts and money will better spent in the UK. It is hard to start your life all over again when you are middle-aged, but we are very excited about it and willing to learn from all of you. Happy investing, Yolanda
